Kolkata: Union home minister Amit Shah on Friday paid tribute to shehnai legend Bismillah Khan on his death anniversary.Shah recalled an interaction with Khan when the maestro was unwell and said Khan’s expression changed instantly when they began discussing ragas. “It was as if he did not have any illness,” Shah said in Siliguri.Shah also recalled Khan saying that he found the greatest joy in playing shehnai near the Kashi Vishwanath temple on the banks of the Ganga in the morning.
