A Digha youth faces charges after a video showed him throwing stones
THANE: A youth from Digha has been booked by the Railway Protection Force (RPF), Sanpada, after an undated video showing him allegedly attempting to throw stones at passing local trains and making obscene gestures at passengers went viral on social media.According to police, the Thane railway police were alerted to the video, following which the youth was traced and identified.SPI Dharmendra Aware of the Thane railway police said the youth was subsequently booked by RPF Sanpada under relevant sections of the Railways Act.Police are further examining the video and the circumstances surrounding the incident.
