Ahmedabad: Advocate P D Patel was elected as chairman of the Bar Council of Gujarat (BCG), and its former chairman J J Patel was elected unopposed as a member of the Bar Council of India (BCI) during a general meeting convened on Saturday. Among BCG’s other office-bearers, advocate Nimisha Dhotre was elected vice-chairperson, and advocate Aniruddhsinh Zala as executive committee chairman.

129 students awarded degrees at IITRAM convocationAhmedabad: The Institute of Infrastructure, Technology, Research And Management (IITRAM) on Saturday hosted its eighth convocation on its Khokhra campus where 129 graduates including 116 B.Tech, 1 M.Tech and 12 PhD received their degrees. Prof Manoj K Tiwari, director of IIM Mumbai, was the chief guest at the event. Faculty members, proud parents, and industry leaders gathered in large numbers to witness the momentous occasion, applauding the young professionals as they stepped forward to embark on their professional journeys and contribute meaningfully to nation-building.
