Soon after her return from Uzbekistan, where she has been working on cultural exchange programmes as Culture and Tourism brand Ambassador of Uzbekistan to India, fashion designer Ritu Beri hosted a pop-up for her friends. The pop-up displaying the festive best from Ritu’s collection was also an occasion for her friends to come together for festive shopping and a good chat session. The pop-up was hosted at Ritu’s friend Priya Kakar Kapur’s luxury interior store at MG Road.

The collection on display was a mix of embroidered kaftans, kurtas, jackets and dresses. “This is the time when everyone is looking for something special to wear for this festive season, so I thought that hosting pop up with selective designs from my collection would be a good way to kickstart with the festive season. The idea was to also meet friends over a good cup of coffee before everyone gets busy with festivities, parties and other celebrations,” said Ritu.
