Pune: Pune city police await the inquiry report of Pune rural police before initiating any action against a police personnel’s alleged involved in an attempted robbery case.Narhe police arrested three men for allegedly attempting to rob a Talegaon Dabhade-based businessman of Rs 1 crore in cash on Saturday afternoon near Navale Bridge on the Katraj-Dehu Road bypass. Police are still searching for their two accomplices, and examining the role of a personnel posted at a Pune rural police outpost on the Satara highway.The suspects allegedly took the businessman to the outpost along with the cash. On reaching the outpost, a police personnel allegedly removed some cash from the bag and threw it towards another man. However, the cash was later put back into the bag.Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone III) Sagar Kawade told TOI, “So far, we have found no involvement of any Pune rural police personnel. However, we will wait for the inquiry report before taking any action.”
