Margao: Cuncolim police arrested Agustinho Pereira for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor boy in Assolna after luring him with chocolate. He has been booked under the Goa Children’s Act and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (Pocso) Act.Police said the incidents occurred in Sept and again on Oct 9. The accused allegedly took the boy to a deserted, locked house in a shed near the Sal river at Banda, Assolna, where the assault took place. Police added that he also threatened the child to prevent him from telling anyone.An investigation is under way.
