Pune: A 32-year-old man bludgeoned his mother to death at Mhalwadi village in Bhor taluka, about 60 km from the city, on Saturday after she refused to give him money for consuming liquor.Bhor police arrested the suspect, Samir Malusare, under Section 103 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for the murder of Baby Malusare (52). A police officer said, “The alcoholic suspect, a daily wage worker, used to harass his mother. He went to his cousin’s house on Saturday morning and said his mother was not responding. When the cousin went to the suspect’s house, he found his aunt lying unconscious on her bed. She had injury marks on her head and forehead.”The officer said, “The suspect said he had a heated argument with his mother when she refused to give him money to buy liquor. He then bludgeoned her to death with an iron rod.”
