Panaji: Kadamba Transport Corporation Ltd (KTCL) has launched a recruitment drive to fill 300 contractual posts — 200 conductors and 100 heavy vehicle drivers — for one year.Walk-in interviews will be held at the KTC Central Workshop, Porvorim, from June 25 to July 4, between 11am and 4pm, excluding Sunday.The monthly gross salary for both posts is Rs 22,000.Of the 200 conductor vacancies, 90 are reserved for the unreserved category, 54 for OBCs, 24 for STs, four for SCs, 20 for EWS candidates and eight for persons with disabilities. Among the 100 driver vacancies, 49 are reserved for the unreserved category, 27 for OBCs, 12 for STs, two for SCs and 10 for EWS candidates.Applicants must be below 45 years of age. Age relaxation will be provided to candidates from reserved categories, persons with disabilities, and govt servants as per govt rules.Candidates must have knowledge of English, Hindi, Konkani and Marathi. Eligible applicants will be interviewed on the same day.Selected candidates will be appointed on contract for one year, extendable if required. No travel or daily allowance will be paid for attending the interviews.
