New Delhi: Delhi govt Monday launched Delhi Udyog Mitra Portal, a single-window digital platform aimed at simplifying and streamlining approvals, registrations, licences and other regulatory services for around 8 lakh businesses and entrepreneurs, helping them cut repeated visits to govt offices.“In line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji’s Make in India vision, Delhi govt is working to create a business environment in the capital where entrepreneurs and investors do not have to deal with unnecessary procedural complexities and can instead focus more on expanding their businesses, driving innovation and creating jobs. Delhi govt would continue to add more services to the portal, simplify processes and strengthen digital transformation,” said CM Rekha Gupta, adding that the portal will be further expanded through service integration, process simplification and digital transformation.Delhi Udyog Mitra Portal is an integrated digital platform aimed at strengthening Delhi’s ‘ease of doing business’ ecosystem by providing entrepreneurs, traders, MSMEs, startups, industrial units and investors easier access to govt services and approvals through a single interface. The initiative seeks to facilitate investment, promote transparent administration and simplify regulatory processes.The portal currently integrates more than 50 govt services from 15 departments, with plans to expand to over 100 services across 21 departments. Integration with National Single Window System will enable businesses and investors to access central and Delhi govt approvals through one platform.Key features include Single Sign-On, enabling access to multiple departmental services through one login, and a Common Application Form, reducing the need to repeatedly provide basic information. The Know Your Approvals feature will help applicants identify approvals required for their proposed businesses.An applicant dashboard will allow users to track applications, while departmental dashboards will help officials monitor service delivery. A guidance module featuring FAQs, manuals and service-related information will further assist applicants in navigating approval processes.Delhi industries minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa said that so far, 15 departments and boards have been integrated with the portal. “100 services across 21 departments will be onboarded by next month,” he added.
