Howrah: Acting on CM’s orders, CID on Saturday took over the investigation into the murder of BJP functionary Prasanta Dey in Bagnan. A CID team visited Dey’s home and spoke to his wife, Soma Dey, and other family members.The same team then recorded statements of family members of the main accused — Sheikh Mofizul Islam Khan. They subsequently visited the scene of crime at Paikpara and spoke to locals.Clashes broke out between Trinamool and BJP workers on Wednesday night in Bagnan. Dey was killed in the clashes and three others were seriously injured. Minister Indranil Khan visited the injured at SSKM on Saturday
