Kolkata: The CBI on Tuesday arrested proclaimed offender Rohan Sk, alias Kismot Sk, from Mirza Ghalib Street in Kolkata in connection with the 2022 Bogtui carnage case.Rohan had been absconding since the CBI took over the probe on March 25, 2022, following orders from the Calcutta High Court. The case relates to the deaths of 10 people who were burnt alive in Birbhum’s Bogtui village.The CBI filed a chargesheet and three supplementary chargesheets against 27 accused, including Rohan. A Rampurhat court declared him a proclaimed offender in April 2024. He will be produced before court on Wednesday.
