Agartala: Tripura is eyeing investment proposals worth Rs 1 lakh crore at the two-day Destination Tripura Business Conclave-2026, starting July 9. The event expects over 500 delegates.Chief minister Dr Manik Saha said Union DoNER Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia will participate. “We received encouraging responses from domestic and international investors to create jobs and boost GSDP,” Dr Saha said, adding that nations like Bangladesh, Russia, and Indonesia have confirmed or expressed interest.Industries Secretary Kiran Gitte stated that significant investments are expected in health, IT, and tourism. Last year, agreements worth Rs 30,000 crore were signed, with projects worth Rs 8,000 crore already underway.
