Ahmedabad: Residents of several areas in Paldi ward are likely to face drinking water disruption on Thursday due to Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation’s (AMC) emergency repair of a leaking 900mm diameter mild steel (MS) trunk pipeline supplying water to the locality.Civic officials said the repairs were necessary to prevent significant water loss and ensure the long-term stability of the city’s water supply network.Water supply is expected to be affected in Paldi village, Ellisbridge, Fatehpura and residential societies around Shreyas Tekra. To minimise inconvenience, the civic body has arranged water tankers for the affected areas until normal supply is restored.
