Chennai: Four passengers, including a woman, suffered injuries after two Metropolitan Transport Corporation (MTC) buses collided near the War Memorial on Rajaji Road in Chennai on Friday. The injured were admitted to the Govt Omandurar Medical College Hospital.According to police, an MTC bus en route 102-B was travelling from Perumbakkam to Broadway when it collided with another MTC bus enroute 21-G, which was operating towards Kalambakkam from Thiruvanmiyur, near the War Memorial.In the impact, four passengers travelling in the Route 102-B bus, including a woman, suffered injuries. Traffic police personnel rushed to the spot, rescued the injured and shifted them to the Govt Hospital for treatment. Their condition is stable, police said.The collision caused traffic congestion on Rajaji Road for a brief period before normal traffic was restored.
