5 easy steps to encourage fuller, healthier growth

If fuller, bushier growth is the goal, this is the step that actually gets you there. Using clean, sharp scissors, pinch back any leggy, overgrown stems just above a leaf node, and trim off any damaged or shrivelled leaves while you’re at it. This encourages the plant to branch out sideways instead of growing tall and sparse, which is usually what “leggy” jade plants are missing. Give it a light feed with a diluted succulent fertiliser afterward to support the fresh growth that follows, but keep it sparing since jade plants don’t need much.
