Vasco: A three-year-old boy died after being electrocuted when he came into contact with live wires while playing in a shed at his house in Mangor Hill, Vasco.The deceased was identified as Ankush Yadav. The incident was reported at around 3.41pm on Friday.Vasco police, who are investigating the case, said the child accidentally came into contact with live electric wires that were entwined around a metal shed at the house.As a result, he suffered an electric shock and fell unconscious. He was immediately rushed to Chicalim Sub-District Hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.Police conducted an inquest panchanama on the body and later sent it to the South Goa District Hospital, Margao, for further medico-legal formalities.A case of unnatural death has been registered under Section 194 of the BNSS. PSI Nikhil Dessai is conducting further investigations.
