From 13 T-shirts to bags, jackets and 50+ stickers: Bengaluru Microsoft techie gives a peek into his ‘mountain’ of company goodies

A Bengaluru-based Microsoft employee has given social media users a glimpse of a collection that goes far beyond the usual company merchandise. Kartik Agarwal recently shared a video showing the huge pile of Microsoft goodies he has collected during his journey with the company. From T-shirts, bags and bottles to jackets, power banks, fitness accessories and even a harmonica, Agarwal’s collection includes a surprising variety of items. His video quickly caught attention online, with viewers joking that he had accumulated enough Microsoft merchandise to start a shop of his own.

‘An entire mountain of goodies’

In the Instagram video, Agarwal begins by explaining that while people usually show a few pieces of company merchandise, he decided to display what he described as an “entire mountain of goodies”. “Bro, people usually show you a few Microsoft goodies, but I’ll show you an entire mountain of goodies, bro!” he said. He then began going through the collection one item at a time. It included a laptop sleeve and several bags, with Agarwal pointing out that some additional bags were still at home. His collection also featured a Microsoft Rubik’s Cube, stress balls, socks, a tea-infuser bottle, tumblers and several other bottles. The haul did not stop there. Agarwal showed power banks, posters, an Xbox Game Pass, a Microsoft diary, plantable pens and pencils, a suitcase and several jackets. He also displayed a large collection of Microsoft T-shirts. “This is one T-shirt, a second T-shirt, third T-shirt, fourth T-shirt, fifth T-shirt, sixth T-shirt, seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth, and three are at home!” he said. That meant the collection featured at least 13 T-shirts in total, with several more pieces still kept at his home.

From internship and MLSA to a full-time Microsoft role

The collection represents different stages of Agarwal’s association with Microsoft rather than merchandise received only after joining the company as a full-time employee. Sharing the video on Instagram, he explained that he joined Microsoft full-time in July 2025. The goodies featured in the video had been collected during his MLSA, internship and full-time journey. His caption read: “Consistency > Motivation. My Microsoft Goodies Collection. I joined Microsoft full-time in July 2025, so this reel includes all the goodies I received during my MLSA, internship and full-time journey.”Among the more unusual items in the collection were a boarding pass holder, medals and awards, a mouth organ or harmonica, a shaker bottle, a foam roller, a fitness diary and stretch resistance bands. Agarwal said some of the fitness-related items came through Secret Santa. He also showed a tin box filled with Microsoft stickers. “A tin box of stickers, bro, there must be at least 50 stickers in this!” he said, before pointing towards several other small items, knick-knacks and lanyards. The collection appeared to be so large that Agarwal himself joked about the number of objects still left to show. “What happened, got tired already?” he asked while continuing to display the merchandise.

Social media users react to the Microsoft haul

The sheer volume of merchandise quickly became the main talking point in the comments section. Several users were amused by the size of the collection, while others focused on specific items, particularly the T-shirts. One user commented, “That’s a whole Microsoft collection!” Another joked, “Bro can open his own Microsoft shop now.” A third user called it “an impressive collection”, while another appeared particularly surprised by the number of T-shirts, writing, “The number of T-shirts is crazy.”The video offers a light-hearted look at one employee’s journey through different stages of his association with Microsoft. What began with merchandise received during his MLSA and internship eventually grew into a sizeable collection after he joined the company full-time. For Agarwal, the collection appears to be more than just a pile of branded products. Each item represents a different experience, event or stage of his professional journey, turning everyday company merchandise into a visual record of his time with Microsoft.
