CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu state budget 2026-27 would be presented in the first week of August, highly placed sources said on Monday. They said the state cabinet would meet on July 16 to grant approvals to the financial statements prepared ahead of the budget. The meeting, to be chaired by chief minister C Joseph Vijay, will discuss key proposals and major items that would feature in the budget.
