Pune: Two men were arrested on Wednesday on the charge of stalking and touching two minor sisters improperly for the last eight days. The incident happened in Daund taluka.The duo has been arrested under the relevant sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The girls’ father has lodged a complaint with the Pune rural police.An officer said, “The duo had been stalking his daughters for the last eight days. They chased the sisters when they were returning home from school. Two days ago, they followed the girls in a van, stopped them and touched them improperly”.“The girls narrated the incident to their parents, who alerted their acquaintances, who then chased the van. But the duo escaped. We thereafter have arrested the duo,” he added.
