NEW DELHI: CJP chief spokesperson Saurav Das has slammed critics over the widespread scrutiny faced by the party’s top leadership on social media platforms.In a post on social media, Das appeared to refer to criticism directed at the party’s leaders and supporters, writing, “Someone please compile all these stories for a future CJP stand-up comedy special!”He added, “From citizenship, square ft. house rents, kurta prices, RTI applications, to even Urfi Javed being paid off, government proxies are determined to outdo themselves with every new script!”

Complaint against CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke
A social media influencer has filed a complaint seeking the arrest of CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke, alleging that the organisation paid celebrities to join its protests.The influencer, Faizan Ansari, alleged that Dipke and others were involved in activities linked to mobilisation and sought police action against the CJP founder.“I have filed a written complaint against Abhijeet Dipke with the Delhi DCP because I have proof that his men attacked me. I was attacked in Pune and in Aurangabad. There are already two cases filed on that,” Ansari told ANI.The allegations have been rejected by CJP leaders, who have accused critics and government supporters of attempting to discredit the youth-led agitation through claims circulating on social media.The CJP has been at the centre of protests involving young people and has faced criticism from political opponents and government supporters over its campaign and methods.The complaint has further intensified the exchanges between CJP leaders and their critics.
RTI activist seeks inquiry into Dipke’s father’s finances
Earlier, an RTI activist sought an inquiry into the finances of Dipke’s father, raising questions over an alleged Rs 1 crore CJP defence fund and how Dipke was able to fund his higher education abroad.“The Cockroach Janta Party is an unregistered entity but is operating as a political party. If Rs 1 crore has been pledged to it as a legal defence fund, then the EC should verify whether the CJP is registered with it under Section 29A of the Representation of the People Act, 1951,” activist Amit Tiwari told PTI.The RTI application sought scrutiny of the source of the funds and financial transactions linked to the fund and Dipke’s family.Tiwari said he had sought a probe into the financial status of Dipke’s father, Bhagwanrao Dipke, a retired Maharashtra government employee.The development triggered another round of allegations and counter-allegations involving the CJP founder.
Dipke hits back over questions on education
Dipke has also responded to criticism concerning his educational qualifications.Reacting to questions over his academic background, Dipke said he was ready to produce his scholarship and loan documents.He also questioned the educational qualifications of those raising questions about his credentials.In a social media post, Dipke asked, “Will the emperor show his degree?”The exchanges have added to the wider online confrontation surrounding the CJP leadership, with allegations concerning the party’s funding, supporters and backgrounds of its key figures being traded across social media.
