Aptus Value Housing Finance reports 19% growth in Q1 FY27 net profit

Chennai: Aptus Value Housing Finance on Friday reported a 19% growth in net profit at Rs 261 crore in the quarter ended June 30, 2026, against Rs 219 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Its net income margin grew by 19% to Rs 441 crore in Q1 FY27 from Rs 370 crore during the year ago quarter. Its disbursements increased by 36% at Rs 1,053 crore compared to Rs 775 crore in Q1 FY26, the company said in a statement here.The Housing Finance Company’s Assets Under Management (AUM) touched Rs 13,648 crore as of June 2026. Gross NPA stood at 1.7% (Q1 FY27) as against 1.5% in Q1 FY26, while Net NPA was at 1.3% compared with 1.1% during the same period last year. Its MD P Balaji said, “On the asset quality front, collection efficiency during the quarter was impacted to an extent by seasonality. This resulted in a slight sequential increase in delinquencies and NPAs. However, the underlying credit quality of the portfolio remains resilient, and we remain focused on strengthening our collection framework.”Noting that the decision to discontinue sanctions below rupees seven lakh loans last year is yielding encouraging results, he said, “We are witnessing an improvement in the quality of customers being onboarded. We are also evaluating opportunities to expand our lending portfolio beyond home loans and SME loans,” he added.
