Mumbai: An alert policewoman averted a suicide attempt by a passenger at Dadar railway station on the Western line recently. CCTVs captured the incident.On July 30, female police constable AA Narvade was patrolling on platform no. 1. Around 10.52 pm, a Borivali-bound slow local started to move from Dadar station. A passenger suddenly lied down on the platform and slid his neck into the gap between the rake and the platform. He was trying to end his life when Narvade caught him by his legs and pulled him away from the gap. She later inquired about his name and address, but he refused to answer any questions.
