Chennai: Cholamandalam MS General Insurance Company (Chola MS) on Wednesday posted a dip in profit after tax (PAT) at Rs 86 crore in the quarter ended June 30, 2026, against Rs 107 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.Its Gross Written Premium (GWP) grew 6.7% at Rs 2,130 crore in Q1 FY27 over Rs 1,997 crore during the year ago quarter, the company said in a statement. During the quarter, the insurer expanded its service network to more than 18,000 cashless garages and over 13,900 cashless hospitals, it added.Rajive Kumaraswami, MD and CEO Chola MS, said, “We remain focused on building a sustainable and resilient business through prudent underwriting, digital innovation and customer-first service.”Ends/YK
