Pune: A 17-year-old boy was assaulted to death by a 20-year-old man and his minor accomplice at Phursungi on Saturday morning on the suspicion that the deceased was having an affiar with a woman from Yewalewadi near Kondhwa.Phursungi police arrested the 20-year-old man from Kondhwa and have detained his minor accomplice later on Saturday afternoon. The deceased’s father (49) has lodged a complaint with the Phursungi police.According to the police, the arrested man suspected that the deceased was having a relationship with a young woman, who was his relative. The deceased as well as the arrested man were good friends. They decided to meet the boy at a spot near Sanket Vihar in Phursungi. The arrested man and his minor accomplice came to the spot with a heavy stone. They assaulted him on the head and fled.
