Jalpaiguri: Two school students, Dip Das and Gagan Shakharu, stopped chief minister Suvendu Adhikari’s convoy in Paharpur area on Monday to alert him about growing drug trade in the locality. Adhikari was travelling to Jalpesh Temple after a programme at DM office when students waved to stop the CM’s convoy. Adhikari halted the convoy, listened to their complaint and assured action. He took their mobile phone, saved his number, and asked them to send a WhatsApp message regarding any future issues.
