Mumbai: An Ahmedabad-based businessman was arrested by airport police on charges of rape. Police said the survivor approached them with a complaint on July 23.The survivor is acquainted with the accused. On July 20, the duo checked into a five-star hotel close to the airport. On July 22, the survivor was allegedly raped, following which she approached the police the next day. On July 24, police arrested the accused and produced him before court. He was remanded to police custody till July 29.“The case has been registered under Sections 64, 74, 75(2), 76, 333 of BNS at Airport police station,” said DCP Nimit Goyal.
