APSEZ Q1 PAT rises 10% to Rs 3,650 crore
Consolidated revenue rose to Rs 10,821 crore from Rs 9,126 crore a year ago, while EBITDA increased to Rs 6,541 crore from Rs 5,495 crore.

Ahmedabad: Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd (APSEZ) on Wednesday reported a 10% year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 3,650 crore for the quarter ended June 30. Revenue and EBITDA grew 19% each, driven by strong domestic operations and a sharp jump in earnings from its international ports business.Consolidated revenue rose to Rs 10,821 crore from Rs 9,126 crore a year ago, while EBITDA increased to Rs 6,541 crore from Rs 5,495 crore.The company’s international ports business emerged as the biggest growth driver. Revenue from the segment rose 80% to Rs 1,747 crore, while EBITDA surged 256% to Rs 730 crore, aided by operations in Australia and Colombo. Cargo volumes at overseas ports climbed to 22.8 million metric tonnes from 7.7 MMT a year earlier.Domestic ports revenue grew 12% to Rs 6,964 crore on higher cargo volumes, improved cargo mix and better realisations. The business maintained an EBITDA margin of 74%. APSEZ handled 115.3 MMT of cargo at domestic ports during the quarter.Marine revenue rose 67% to Rs 901 crore following fleet additions and expansion of offshore operations in Europe. Logistics revenue remained largely flat at Rs 1,173 crore as rail volumes were affected by the Middle East conflict.
