Ahmedabad: Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL) reported a 19.3% rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 983 crore for the June quarter, according to the company’s stock-exchange filings. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 824 crore in the year-ago period.Revenue from power supply rose 29% to Rs 4,280 crore from Rs 3,312 crore. EBITDA from power supply increased 33% to Rs 4,122 crore. Cash profit grew 28% to Rs 2,225 crore.The company’s operational capacity increased 27% year-on-year to 20.1 GW. It added 4,327 MW of greenfield capacity over the past year. Of this, 848 MW was added during the June quarter.Energy sales rose 30% to 13,657 million units, aided by capacity additions.AGEL commissioned 1,972 MWh of battery energy storage system capacity at Khavda in Gujarat during the quarter. This took its total installed battery storage capacity to 3,551 MWh. The company plans to add 5 GW of renewable energy capacity and more than 10,000 MWh of battery storage capacity by FY27.
