Bicholim: A severely dilapidated house near Shri Shantadurga High School in Bicholim has raised serious safety concerns, with residents urging authorities to act before an accident occurs.The structure, with its collapsing roof and crumbling walls, threatens students, parents, pedestrians, and motorists who use the area daily. The danger is greatest during school dispersal, when parents wait near the building to collect their children.Bicholim resident Shriram Rawool said parents are forced to stand close to the unsafe structure and warned that any collapse could prove fatal. He said the matter was brought to the deputy collector’s attention, but no action followed.School van operator Deelip Satardekar urged authorities to demolish the building immediately, warning that further delay could end in tragedy.
