The woman has been sent to an observation home
Ahmedabad: A woman found with stapler pins on her body was rescued by the Abhayam helpline. Counsellors said the woman is believed to have mental health issues and that they are looking for her family.“A caller informed the helpline about the woman who was seen wandering in an area in eastern Ahmedabad. A team reached the spot and tracked the woman. She had stapler pins on her body besides other injuries. It is suspected that she may have been assaulted. She was provided medical care and was questioned. We only got to know that she is from Bihar. There is no other information,” said a counsellor.In the absence of a local contact, the woman was sent to an observation home and is being provided mental health care.
