New Delhi: A 35-year-old truck driver was killed after the Eicher truck he was driving rammed a dumper on the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway in northeast Delhi’s Khajuri Khas early Friday, police said. The dumper driver fled the spot after the accident.The deceased was identified as Anshul, a resident of Jind, Haryana. Police received information about the accident around 5am and found the driver trapped inside the mangled cabin. Teams from the Delhi Fire Services and NDRF were called in for rescue. He was rushed to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
