With the week-long ‘Aranya Saptaha’ (forest week) starting from Tuesday, CM Suvendu Adhikari announced that 7.2 crore saplings will be planted this year and there will be a minimum two years of maintenance to protect the same. “I urge every citizen to observe ‘Aranya Saptaha’ and plant a tree in the name of their mother,” the CM posted on X handle on Monday.
