Calangute: Police arrested two people on Sunday for allegedly stealing a phone and watches from a Calangute holiday villa on Saturday.The two were identified as Kiran (22) and Arun (19), both natives of Shimoga, Karnataka. The duo allegedly entered the villa through the back door and decamped with a mobile phone and two watches, all worth around Rs 90,000.Following a complaint, Calangute police launched an investigation and traced the accused through electronic surveillance.In another incident, police on Friday recovered a phone of Dinesh Murani from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, who had lost it on Calangute beach. Police said they traced the phone and returned it to the owner.
