Ahmedabad: A man, believed to be around 30 years old, allegedly died by jumping under the rear wheels of a truck on the Dehgam-Ahmedabad road in Dehgam on Thursday. The incident was captured on CCTV, and police have launched an investigation to establish identity of the deceased.CCTV footage showed the man walking on the roadside as a truck heading towards Ahmedabad passed him. Moments later, another truck carrying a container approached. The man suddenly ran towards the truck and jumped under its rear wheel and got crushed, the footage showed.The truck driver reportedly fled the spot following the suicide. Passersby and local residents who witnessed the tragedy alerted the police.A team from Dehgam police that reached the spot, sent the body for postmortem. Police are examining CCTV footage from the area.Police said no identification documents were found on the deceased.
