Delhi SIR: Name missing from draft roll? Here’s what to do

NEW DELHI: Nearly one in three registered voters in Delhi has been excluded from the draft electoral roll published by the Election Commission on Monday following the completion of the special intensive revision enumeration exercise.According to the draft roll, Delhi now has 97.5 lakh electors, down from 1.4 crore at the beginning of the exercise in June.Around 47.5 lakh electors, or 32.8% of the electorate, have been excluded as their enumeration forms could not be collected during the house-to-house verification.Claims & objections window: AUG 31–SEPT 30If your name is missing — or you spot an ineligible/duplicate name — you can approach election authorities during the claims & objections period.1.
