Pune: Often seen at odds, representatives of youth organisations affiliated with various political parties came together over breakfast on Saturday.The primary objective, said a representative, was to initiate an open dialogue on the differences, disputes and increasing instances of aggression among youth organisations over the past few months.“Ideological differences mustn’t turn into personal animosity, bitterness or conflict. Differences of opinion and political competition are natural in a democracy; however, it should be between ideas, not individuals, was the message conveyed during the meeting,” said Akshay Jain, chairperson, media dept of Maharashtra Youth Congress.The meeting was attended by representatives of youth wings of political parties such as Youth Congress, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, Yuva Sena, Yuva Sena (UBT), NCP, NCP (Sharadchandra Pawar) and Vande Mataram among others.
