NEW DELHI: A woman was found dead in a pool of blood inside at Hotel Prince in Delhi’s Lahori Gate area early Thursday morning, police said.The woman, who was from Bihar, and a man from Rajasthan had checked into the hotel at around 3.30pm on Wednesday.At around 5am on Thursday, hotel staff alerted the police after finding the woman lying in a pool of blood inside the room.Police reached the hotel and found the woman dead. The man was also found there after allegedly consuming a poisonous substance. He was rushed to hospital, where he is undergoing treatment.Police suspect that the man may have stabbed the woman before consuming the poisonous substance in an apparent suicide attempt. However, the exact circumstances surrounding the woman’s death and the man’s condition are yet to be established.Police are also investigating whether the two were in a relationship and whether a personal dispute may have led to the incident.
