Kolkata: Bengali NRI industrialist Prasoon Mukherjee has been appointed adviser for India and Latin America to the Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF), Singapore’s apex manufacturing body representing more than 5,000 companies.Mukherjee also serves as chairman of the India Business Committee of the Singapore Business Federation (SBF), vice-chairman of its International Action Committee, and vice-chairman of the SBF ASEAN Committee.In his new role at SMF, he will provide strategic guidance, promote business networking and partnerships, lead trade missions and engagements and foster cross-border collaboration initiatives.
