Ahmedabad: Between 2022 and 2026, 86 complaints of ragging have been filed in the state and 23 of these are of ragging incidents in medical colleges, the Congress party’s state unit said on Monday quoting data from University Grants Commission (UGC) website.Speaking to the media, party spokesperson Parthivrajsinh Kathavadia said, “More than 26% of the ragging complaints filed in the state are from medical colleges alone. Govt needs to act strictly in such cases and exemplary action must be taken to prevent such instances in future.”
