Ponda: At Ponda Municipal Council’s weekly interaction on Tuesday, water resources minister Subhash Shirodkar directed officials to resolve all civic issues in the town before Ganesh Chaturthi. When former chairperson Shantaram Kolvenkar highlighted poor road conditions, including roads built less than a year ago, Shirodkar instructed PWD officials to fill potholes.BJP functionary Sushanti Kavlekar and others complained of irregular water supply, to which the minister said reservoirs are not adequately monitored, even as he directed engineers to complete the area’s water pipeline work by Sep 30.He also ordered clogged drains cleared within eight days and urged councillors to inspect wards and follow up.
