ETimes reviews ‘Irumudi’
ETimes noted some challenges in the way the film introduces its antagonists and develops the central conflict. The review reads, “The film does have its narrative challenges. Several characters with negative shades are introduced to highlight Trinadha’s constant battles. His instinct to stand up for others and protect those around him repeatedly puts him in conflict, leading to a growing number of enemies. While this builds the tension, the first half leaves some ambiguity around the motivations of these antagonists, making the narrative feel slightly scattered. The second half, however, patiently unravels these threads and gives the conflicts a stronger emotional purpose.”DISCLAIMER: The box office numbers and the data in this article are compiled from public and industry sources.
