New Delhi: National Green Tribunal has asked Delhi Pollution Control to impose environmental compensation on a bottling plant which was running illegally in Shahdara. The sub-divisional magistrate informed the tribunal that the plant has been closed now.“Learned Counsel appearing for DPCC submits that the period of past violation will be ascertained and necessary action will be taken and the report will be filed before the Tribunal at least one week before next date of hearing,” the bench observed. The matter will be next heard on Nov 6.
