IndiGo website glitch till night affects flyers
The IndiGo website resumed functioning as usual by 9.30pm on Wednesday

Pune: The glitch in IndiGo website from Wednesday afternoon till night affected many flyers and travel agents.Businessman Karim Siddique, scheduled to travel to Ahmedabad on Wednesday evening, could not complete the web check-in process. “A message about a problem popped up and I rushed to the airport,” the Camp resident said.TOI found the IndiGo website functioning as usual around 9.30pm though a reply from the airline’s spokesperson on the issue was awaited till going to press.Santosh Gupta, the owner of Shree Vinayak Holidays, said one of his clients travelling to Varanasi with 15kg luggage faced the same problem earlier in the day. “The website was down even when I tried to check-in on his behalf. I advised him he should proceed to the airport and complete the formalities in the conventional way,” Gupta said.The airline in a message on X around 5pm said, “We are currently experiencing intermittent issues with our core reservation platform, which may make it difficult for some customers to access our online services. Our teams are working on priority, with our partner, to fix the issue as soon as possible. Customers requiring immediate travel assistance may reach out to our Contact Centre for support. Those travelling later are advised to try accessing the website or app again after some time.Hinjewadi’s Subodh Nagpal failed to book tickets to Kolkata. “I tried for a long time in the evening, but in vain. I couldn’t book the tickets even through a travel portal,” he said.Ends
