Pune: Osmanabad MP Omprakash Rajenimbalkar, one of the six Shiv Sena (UBT) MPs on the verge of switching to Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena, on Saturday said he would be announcing his next political move after a couple of days following discussions with his supporters. The MP travelled to Pune after a special CBI court acquitted all the accused in his father Pavanraje Nimbalkar’s murder. He was in the court when the verdict was pronounced. He expressed disappointment over the court verdict while interacting with reporters in the city.“Now that all the accused have been acquitted, who killed my father? This is ‘Kalyug’, where a person who behaves nicely always faces disappointments,” Rajenimbalkar said. The Osmanabad MP said he would be appealing against the verdict in the higher court. He said, “I was expecting justice for my father and therefore, I was fighting the case for the past 20 years. I hoped that all the culprits would be convicted, but I was disappointed. Once I get the copy of the court order, we will study the verdict and appeal against it in the higher court.”Rajenimbalkar is one of the six MPs from Uddhav Thackeray’s party expected to join Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena in the next few days. The Osmanabad MP on Saturday said he would take a decision on his next political move after discussions with his supporters in his constituency.“While I shall convey my decision in the next couple of days, I won’t say anything against Uddhav and Aaditya Thackeray,” Rajenimbalkar said.
